With an exceptional 0.2% free acidity at the time of pressing, our oil far exceeds the 0.8% maximum standard for Extra Virgin Olive Oil, delivering remarkable purity, freshness, and flavor. HANDCRAFTED CERAMIC BOTTLES.
Every Caliendo® ceramic bottle begins not in a factory, but in the hands of a skilled Italian artisan. Using traditional techniques, the clay is carefully shaped by hand on a potter’s wheel, then slowly dried before its first firing at 1,100°C, transforming the raw clay into terracotta.
The terracotta is then glazed with a lead-free enamel, creating the perfect canvas for the next stage of its transformation. Each bottle is individually decorated by hand using lead-free colors and delicate ox-hair brushes, allowing the artisan to create the intricate details and distinctive character that make every piece unique.
Finally, the decorated bottle undergoes a second firing at 940°C. The process takes approximately nine hours, followed by an extended cooling period—a deliberate exercise in patience, precision, and craftsmanship. The result is more than a bottle. It is Italian artistry, shaped by hand, fired with care, and created to be treasured long after the last drop is poured.
